PRESS RELEASE
NATURAL FLOW – THE 2nd EDITION 2026
International Art Exhibition
OPENING: July 03, 2026 – 06:30 PM
Lecce, MUST – Museo Storico della Città di Lecce
From July 3 to July 18, 2026, the MUST OFF Gallery room hosts the second edition of the collective exhibition curated by art historian Dr. Carmela Loiacono. The exhibition features works by 24 artists from all over the world.
The exhibition unfolds as a diverse, fascinating, and deeply reflective journey, creating an engaging experience through painting, photography, sculpture, and installations. The event finds its ideal setting in the city of Lecce, historically a crossroads of the Mediterranean and a bridge between cultures, which today promotes a global artistic dialogue centered precisely on the theme of the flow of a fluid world.
Concept & info
Water is one of the fundamental elements of nature and it’s the most widespread compound on Earth.
The thematic core of the entire exhibition is water, understood both as a primary natural resource and as a powerful symbolic presence. From an essential biological asset to an emblem of purification, fluidity, and spiritual regeneration, water is explored through the sensibility and techniques of authors from diverse geographical and cultural backgrounds.
The works selected for this second edition offer the public a variety of interpretations, divided into four broad conceptual areas:
1) Environmental issues and sustainability, focusing on critical perspectives related to its conservation.
2) Personal or conceptual reflections on the fluid nature of this element.
3) Natural landscapes, featuring evocative representations of seas, rivers, and lakes.
4) Symbolic and spiritual dimensions, drawing from art history and myth.
The exhibition path thus aims to celebrate the culture of water, highlighting its indissoluble bond with contemporary artistic expression and its role in shaping the human experience.
