STORIES OF IDENTITY | The 3rd Edition 2026
October 16, 2026 – 6:00 PM
“Every piece of art tells a story made up of emotions, memories and experiences that are part of the lived of each artist”.
Lecce, Friday, October 16, 2026 – Starting from 6:00 PM, in the spaces of the evocative MUST OFF Gallery of MUST – Museo Storico della Città di Lecce will be the inauguration of the international art exhibition STORIES OF IDENTITY – The 3rd Edition 2026. The collective exhibition is conceived and curated by art historian and independent curator Dr. Carmela Loiacono, opened to the public until October 25, 2026.
Presentation of the exhibition
The exhibition brings together a careful selection of 19 artists from all over the world, called to investigate the endless facets of human identity through the multiple languages of contemporary art.
The exhibition project aims to observe, analyze, and share the stories hidden behind the artworks, creating a continuous visual narrative through images in a constant and intimate dialogue with the visitor. All the selected works represent powerful stories of identity, capable of facing and managing the rapid changes of the contemporary world, allowing themselves to be influenced by it while preserving their own uniqueness. The exhibition will thus represent a major opportunity to connect stories, communities, and territories, transforming the city of Lecce into an exceptional crossroads for experiencing new models of artistic, cultural, and social dialogue.
The Opening Event
The official opening of the exhibition, scheduled for Friday, October 16 at 6:00 PM, will feature the opening remarks and critical presentation by Dr. Carmela Loiacono, who will introduce the public to the artists’ poetics and the key themes of the collective exhibition.
